Second graders are learning to regulate their bodies...to be in control of their thoughts and actions.

Mrs. Palagyi's first lesson focuses on how we can train ourselves to be active listeners...more focused in the classroom and at home through "Whole Body Listening."

1.  Our bodies are still.
2.  We look at the speaker
3.  Our hands are in our laps.
4.  We may nod quietly to show the speaker we are listening.
5.  We respond to the speaker when he/she is finished speaking.
Mrs. Palagyi Begins Her 1st of Ten Lessons with the 2nd Graders
