Welcome Second Grade Families to a new year at Slingerlands Elementary School!
Mrs. Duclos, our classroom aide, and I are looking forward to meeting you on Thursday. I will be unable to attend supply drop off day, but feel free to wander around our classroom. Find your desk, cubby, mailbox and follow the directions on the easel. Oh, and see if you can figure out where Angus sits!!! Perhaps there will be a small treat waiting for you at your desks!
Parents please do not stress if you are also unable to attend the drop off session (this is an optional drop off day)...you may send your child's supplies to school a little at a time. We certainly will not need everything on the first two days of school! I have plenty of extra materials on hand until your child is able to transport all his/her supplies to school.
I look forward to working with you this year.
